AI STRATEGIST. EXECUTIVE COACH.
Two disciplines. One person.
Twenty years building AI, data, and cloud strategy at Microsoft, IBM, Deloitte, and T-Mobile. Just as long training the calm that makes the judgment hold. Most people you'll meet have only done one.
Who am I?
Since I was a kid, two questions have run in parallel for me: how machines think, and how people hold up under pressure. I never picked one. I built a career that needed both. It's why the newsletter is called Natural and Artificial Intelligence.
Country Manager. Vice President. CEO. Big Tech first, then Big Consulting, at Microsoft, IBM, Deloitte, and T-Mobile.
Most of what those years taught me was how to add. More vendors. More pilots. More slideware. Big consulting sells addition because its business model requires it. For a long time, I sold it too.
Somewhere in there, I stopped believing more is a strategy. I started asking what to cut instead.
Why it matters
Cutting a portfolio to the few bets that matter takes nerve. I only trust nerve that's trained, not assumed.
I trained mine on purpose. Three months on a remote island in the Indian Ocean. Freediving a hundred feet down, where panic costs you the surface before it costs you anything else. Sixty countries, each one a lesson in how differently people define enough.
Then I made it formal: an ICF executive coaching certification, a certified mindfulness teaching qualification. I track what the training actually does to a leader's nervous system, using the same Oura and Muse data I use with clients, not a promise on a slide.
That's the other half of what I bring into an AI decision. Judgment holds up better when the person making the call is calm, and I can show you the readings.
How I help
One thing, on purpose: an AI strategy that ships. Six weeks. Your portfolio cut to what wins, one to three pilots running, and a roadmap your board signs.
Coaching comes with it, not instead of it, for whoever is carrying the change. Usually that's you.
I also lecture on AI, project management, and mindful leadership in MBA classrooms, partly as a check on myself: technology only works when the person running it does too.
WORK WITH ME
One decision worth stealing. Weekly.
Every week I send one framework, one kill criterion, or one scar with the lesson attached. Read in five minutes. Apply on Monday.
